Caregiver Appreciation Day — A Special Tribute

In May, we swapped the traditional Mother’s Day celebration for something just as meaningful: Caregiver Appreciation Day — a heartfelt tribute to the caregivers who pour love and dedication into the lives of our children.
They are a warm hug, a firm voice when needed, a comforting smile, a whispered prayer, and a place of safety.
Each caregiver received a thoughtful gift, handmade cards from the kids, and a special moment of appreciation.
Because caring is loving — and they love with all their hearts.
Outdoor Fun

Our open space came to life with laughter, running feet, games of hide-and-seek, and lots of tight hugs.
The kids chased butterflies, climbed trees, and made up new games only a child’s heart could imagine.
Here, the freedom to play is also the freedom to be happy.
A Reunion of Love — Adoption Day (May 25th)

Adoption Day was filled with emotion as we welcomed back children who had been adopted — this time with their new families.
Even just for a few hours, it was a reunion we’ll never forget.
There were hugs, teary eyes, and laughter that carried both nostalgia and deep gratitude.
Lar Maná will forever be part of their story.
A Day at the Beach

Under a clear sky and with hearts full of joy, we took the kids to the beach!
They built sandcastles, raced along the shore, and swam under the loving care of our staff.
Nature once again became the perfect setting for making joyful memories.
Honoring Our Educators

We also celebrated Educator Day, honoring the amazing professionals who guide our children with both wisdom and warmth.
With their help, every child learns they can dream big and go far.
We’re so grateful for these mentors who make learning an act of love and transformation.
Child Protection Month (“Orange May”)

“Orange May” is dedicated to fighting against child and teen sexual abuse and exploitation. At Lar Maná, we held a special event for our educators to share knowledge, raise awareness, and strengthen our support network.
We emphasized the importance of #Dial100, a secure and anonymous hotline for reporting abuse.
Protecting childhood is everyone’s responsibility — and here, it’s our top priority.
Partnership with the Department of Social Development

We were honored to welcome the team from the Department of Social Development, Drug Policy, and Human Rights of Paulista for a monitoring visit.
These visits are essential to ensure that our processes stay aligned with public policies and, above all, with the rights of children and teens.
We are fully committed to transparency, care, and protection.
Social Project: Music That Transforms

With a smile on his face and a sparkle in his eyes, one of our children has been joyfully participating in music activities through a program at the Maria de Nazaré School & Daycare.
Each session is a chance to learn, connect, and grow with kindness and respect.
Music has become a powerful tool for expression, discipline, and joy, and watching his talent bloom reminds us that love and opportunity always go hand in hand here at Lar Maná.
A Promise in the Sky and in Our Hearts

As May came to an end, we were gifted with a magical sight: a rainbow stretched across the sky above Lar Maná.
The kids ran to see it, eyes shining, pointing excitedly and asking to take pictures, and so did the caregivers and directors, all in awe.
For us, that rainbow wasn’t just a natural wonder — it felt like a quiet promise from God. A reminder of His love, care, and presence with us.
In the middle of all the challenges and victories, seeing that rainbow felt like hearing Him whisper: “I’m right here with you.”
