Planning is Caring!

We got together with our education team, support staff, coordinators, and leadership to plan the months ahead.

It was an important conversation where we reaffirmed our commitment to providing thoughtful, compassionate care for our children.
We set goals, mapped out actions, and planned events that will bring even more love, growth, and support to our kids and teens.

Purposeful Robotics: The ManáBots Are Back!

Our robotics classes are back — and with an exciting twist: we received an official kit for the SUBMERGED 2025 challenge from the FIRST LEGO League Explore!

Our kids, along with others from the community, are already diving into preparations for the regional competition happening July 31st in Recife.

And yes, the team already has a name: ManáBots! We are so proud!

Protection Through Care: Flu Vaccines

Once again, we were grateful to welcome the amazing team from UBS Chá da Mangabeira, who came to Lar Maná to vaccinate our kids and staff against the flu.

A simple but powerful gesture of care and prevention. Thank you to all the healthcare workers who walk this journey with us!

São João Turns Into Magic: Maná Encantado

Nossa tradicional Festa do Milho ganhou um toque especial este ano com o tema MANÁ ENCANTADO.

This year, our beloved “Festa do Milho” (Corn Festival) received a magical twist with the theme Maná Encantado (Enchanted Maná)!

It was an afternoon full of joy, traditional food, dancing, storytelling, and live forró music with our amazing local trio.
Our kids, team, and volunteers came together to celebrate the beauty of our Northeastern culture in a festive explosion of love and tradition!

Training That Saves Lives

Our care team joined a hands-on first aid workshop led by firefighter and nurse Tiago Guerra.

It was an eye-opening session that reinforced how being prepared for emergencies is a true act of love. Knowing how to react in critical moments is a vital part of caring every day.

Childhood is Not a Place for Work

To mark World Day Against Child Labor, our technical team held talks and activities with the kids and teens to reflect on their rights, dignity, and protection.

It was a powerful moment to affirm what we deeply believe: children should play, dream, and grow up in peace.

Partners Who Stand With Us

We had the pleasure of delivering special framed plaques to some of the amazing companies who support Lar Maná.

Each one proudly says what we feel in our hearts:
“This company supports Lar Maná.”

It’s beautiful to see these bonds of solidarity growing stronger every day.

New Hearts in Our Home

We welcomed new children into our home this month.

As always, our doors — and our arms — are open wide to lovingly receive every story, every little face that now becomes part of our big Maná family.

Discovery Through Tech

Our computer room isn’t just about screens — it’s a place for learning, curiosity, and fun!

The kids explored educational games, worked on activities, and browsed the internet safely and with guidance.
It was a great moment for building independence, confidence, and digital skills — all while having fun.

A Field Trip Full of Stories

Our technical team organized a super special visit to the “Museum of the Northeastern Man”, and some of our girls had the chance to take part in this unforgettable experience.

It was a beautiful day of learning, discovery, and reconnecting with the cultural roots of our region.

We truly believe that experiences like this open minds and plant seeds of identity, pride, and belonging.
