A Hawaiian Sleepover

February still carried the sweet feeling of vacation, and we started the month with a colorful and joyful pajama party. The children chose the theme themselves: a Hawaiian party! With colorful flower necklaces, lively music, and lots of fun before bedtime, the kids enjoyed a wonderful evening. Moments like these become beautiful memories they will carry in their hearts forever.

Daily Play That Fills Lar Maná with Life

Playing together is an important part of everyday life for our children. Many teenagers who come to Lar Maná reconnect with simple childhood games. This is very important as they heal and learn how valuable it is to simply be a child.
There were races, fun challenges, laughter in the hallways, and the joyful energy only children can bring. Every game is more than just fun. It is care. It builds friendships. It gives children the chance to experience childhood in a safe and loving place.

A Costume Party Full of Imagination

We also had a costume party that turned Lar Maná into a world of superheroes, princesses, and many creative characters. Watching each child choose who they wanted to be for a day reminded us how important it is for children to dream and use their imagination.
The costumes came from donations given with love by our supporters and volunteers so our big thank you to all of you who contributed!

Ending Vacation with Fun in the Pool

Before school returned, we enjoyed the last days of vacation the way our children love most, with swimming, outdoor games, and lots of fun in the sun.
These moments were very special and were a relaxing way to help the children prepare for returning to school.

Back to the Classroom

The month of February also marked the return to school. Backpacks were packed, school supplies were ready, and there was excitement in the air. There was also the little nervous feeling that comes with every new beginning.
We continue encouraging each child to believe in their abilities. Education is one of the most powerful ways to change lives and open new opportunities.

This month we welcomed new children into Lar Maná, receiving them with the care, love, and attention that are at the heart of our mission. Every new arrival represents a fresh beginning—one that challenges us and strengthens our commitment to love, protect, and walk alongside each child.

We continue celebrating every step toward a future filled with hope. This month, we celebrated two adoptions and five family reunifications which are new chapters being written with love and responsibility.

Behind every number there is a name, a face, and a story being transformed. That is why we remain committed to this mission, believing that care, along with faith and working together continue to bear fruit far beyond our walls.
